This course will provide REALTORS® with the critical information and tools needed to navigate the changing real estate business model landscape. As the industry faces increased legal and competitive pressures, agents must proactively position themselves by clearly defining their unique value proposition. Attendees will learn about the Department of Justice lawsuit and other legal issues impacting the industry. Strategies will be shared for communicating an agent's expertise through social media, videos, and local market knowledge. Best practices for intake processes, explaining agency, and obtaining early buyer forms will be outlined. A key focus of the presentation is the importance of fees and getting comfortable discussing, negotiating, and charging appropriately based on the value provided. Real world examples will be given alongside role playing exercises to help agents gain confidence. This highly practical session is a must for any agent looking to strengthen their business and client services amid industry shifts.
